There is nothing like the sea air, the sound of the seagulls and the sand between your toes. Hailey Lane RV park is exclusive from all the rest, nestled in Port O'Connor, Texas known as  the "Best Kept Secret on the Texas Gulf Coast." A real jewel between Galveston and Corpus Christi sporting the finest sportfishing, birding and gulf fun and activities. This town is the closest port on the Texas coast to the 100 phantom line for Blue Marlin fishing.

 The primary industry of Port O'Connor is sportfishing and tourism, with shrimping very close behind. The area is renowned for bay, off-shore and wade fishing, with redfish, trout and flounder among the most common catches. Sports enthusiasts also come to Port O'Connor to hunt duck, geese and alligator.

Just off the shore of Port O'Connor lies one of the most pristine natural habitats: Matagorda Island. Once an army air base, the island is now a National Perserve and home to a wide variety of endangered migratory birds. Visitors come from all over the country to observe these rare and beautiful species. 

This area is far from industrial but very active and family friendly. With restraunts from fresh seafood , (we recommend Cathy's) to Mexican, there is all kinds of variety in this area. We have a local HEB and Walmart within 20 minutes and a hardware shop if you decide to tinker. For all the ladies and young girls there is several resale and gift shops that carrier the most rare and unusual gits you will ever find. For the gentlemen there are several local fishing guides to serve you in your outdoor adventure.This is where YOU come in!
